Step 1: Check Your System’s Compatibility and Download Drivers
There are only two types of drivers available for Windows-based PC: Synaptics and Elan. Your device will support either of them, so before downloading you should verify what kind of driver your PC uses. To check this on your PC, follow the instructions given below:
1.   First of all, right-click on your Start menu(located at the bottom-left corner and under the taskbar).
2.   After that, click Device Manager.
3.   Now find the “Mice and other pointing devices” option.
4.   Double-click on it.
5.   There you will notice what kind of driver you PC uses. You will find Elan pointing devices or synaptic pointing devices.
Note: If you own a Lenovo laptop, then you will see Lenovo pointing device which means Elan.
Now download the supported precision drivers from your manufacturer’s site.
